Top 50 Posters on HA (by post count)

Post by Winston »

Check out the top 50 posters on HA by post count. It says that I have the most posts, followed by Jester and Momopi. Momopi was in second place for a long time. But now Jester is. I would have thought that JamesBond, Rock or Ladislav would be in third place, not Jester. I didn't know Jester had that many posts.

Note: The number of posts are displayed at the far right of each name.

If you click on Memberlist above and then sort it by top 50 posters in descending order, you get this:

Now that I'm dating an American lesbian, my lofty perch will be quickly taken down by the regulars.

I think #18 was also my high school class rank, roughly top ~5%.
Many years ago, the Best Picture of 1999, "American Beauty", telegraphed the message of Happier Abroad to the world.

Beware of long term engagements with AWs, you may find yourself in a coffin.

AB discussion thread

BTW, despite settling down with an AW, myself, the warning is still in effect.

When I get my next job maybe I'll close down Firefox and focus on my career, instead of f*cking up and only lasting a month. Lol.

I still plan on going *somewhere* later this year though, so my post count will go up.

I've come along way since I came on here in 2011 to see if anyone had ever been to Guangzhou. Since then...

I went to Guangzhou, tried to look for a wife but got a little sidetracked by the hotel hairdresser.
Rewent to Guangzhou, ate some frog, saw somebody fall out of a train and met a very special lady.
Went to Shanghai in Winter. It started so well as I had the honour of taking the team photo for my aircraft's cabin crew, then went on a 430Km/h Maglev. But then I got freezing cold, got sick, got ripped off, didn't get food poisoned, then went home again.
Quit my job.
Went to live in super busy Guangzhou, went mad then got stuck in my own Hotel California that was Bangkok.
I'd like to say that things are back to normal, but since being back in the UK I've lived through the stormiest Winter in centuries, got a job then got fired, moved house twice and...
I was Happier Abroad for a while but Covid killed that off.

LOL Hey you should be proud to be ranked number 2 on the list. Remember this is the most unique forum on the planet. So you can tell everyone "I'm ranked number 2 on the most unique forum on the planet." LOL

How many people can boast that? lol. You were number 3 for a long time. Only recently did you overtake Momopi. I never knew you had that many posts. lol

Jester is a great guy and a solid presence on here. Has to be said though he likes to drop many of his replies in the form of one or two liners, sometimes a concise "+1" Substance over form LOL :)

WHOA there big fella.

Last I heard, ou were going HUNTING with a lesbian friend as wing-person.

If you are now GETTING SOME from her, and forming the base of some triangles, you cannot, repeat CANNOT get away with a short off-topic "reveal" here. This NEEDS ITS OWN THREAD!!

Jester is a cool dude... ha ha, every time I think of Jester I think of a mad white guy driving down the 110 Freeway with a gun headed toward Inglewood Ca ever since I read that story of him thinking he had to defend his sister, or I think his GF.

Right now, I'm living in the Twilight Zone. I don't know how to describe this setup, without it looking like some sequence out of a dream.

All I can say is that I'm happy and living in some sort of Private Idaho, or was it, a Private Massachusetts  (& you can add in a few other NE states as well, along with Quebec).
