Mario Williams sues ex-fiancee for ring

Posted by Mike Florio on May 6, 2013, 1:24 PM EDT

AP
When Bills defensive Mario Williams proposed to his fiancee, he sealed the deal with a $785,000 ring.

Now that the engagement has been scuttled, Williams wants the ring back from Erin Marzouki. She refuses to surrender it, so Williams has sued.

According to KTRK-TV, Williams filed suit Friday for recovery of the ring, which includes a 10-carat diamond. Williams reportedly alleges that Erin Marzouki “never intended to marry plaintiff and used the relationship as a means to get to plaintiff’s money and acquire gifts.â€￾

She ended up with quite an expensive gift, but it came with a promise to marry Williams. Regardless of how the law sorts this one out, she should give back the ring.[/url]

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is f***ing hilarious! My woman would have pushed away a 20,000 ring if I was silly enough to buy one for her. So your point makes alot of sense.

He'll get his ring back. Legally it's not a gift but a promise of marriage; a promise ring ... a wedding ring has a contract associated with it, but an engagement ring comes with just a promise. Can't believe this ended up in court... she should have just gave it back.

I agree but OTOH she could have married him and really fleeced his accounts after the divorce.

When are men going to stop chasing user-women and start helping other men learn to spot a gold-digger?

Good point. My circles of friends are very good about that. The only thing about Mario Williams is that this brother is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. After he signed with the Buffalo Bills, dude tweeted a picture of his pistol with a silencer on it. Since pistols are illegal in NY it instantly sent shockwaves.....

Maybe dude is just hard-headed......who knows. Being 6'6" and 300 and solid muscle, he better find a tall Eastern European or something...lol

Right about the time Satan goes shopping for thermal undies.
If you read the comments, many males are only complaining that she isn't "hot" enough to buy a ring that expensive for ... as if some women are "hot" enough to throw that kind of cash at.

These types of males and the user-women they attract view the amount of $$$ some dumbass man is willing to spend as a proxy for how physically attractive the woman is --- never mind the 413 guys who were in line before him who banged the hotter, younger, tighter version for free.
He doesn't twuuuwwyy wuuuuvv her, unless he's willing to buy a big, overpriced, shiny rock for his chance to throw hotdog down the well-traveled hallway.

LMAO!!!!! Right on! No regular broad is worth anything close to that. Scarlet Johanssen? Well.....we can debate that, but she can always just buy her own damn ring anyway....
